• Year 6 Inter-School Quiz Competition

  A crack team of Year 6 quizzers went to Wellington School this week and came a creditable 4th in their competition for local primary schools.

• Altrincham Has Talent!

  Who knew our children had so much talent? (Well, we all did!)

  The school hall was full of children, staff and families on Thursday evening this week as our children sang, danced, joked, recited and performed like professionals.

  Nobody envied the judges their job, but in fact there was a stand-out winning act who demonstrated just what our school is all about: supporting each other and overcoming challenge in order to succeed.

  Thank you to all the children who took part, and all who supported the event.

  

• School Council Visit to Parliament

  Our School Council recently went to London to visit the Houses of Parliament.  What a fantastic experience we had! We had the opportunity to tour the Palace of Westminster in all its splendour, sit in front of the benches in both Houses and hear about the history of our democracy.  The children also got to take part in a mock debate, taking on the roles of speaker and party members. They had to put forward their own mini-manifestos related to issues that matter to them.  

  All the children were an absolute credit to us.
