Hello!

 

This week pupils continued to write a persuasive letter from a cotton mill worker to their employer, a cotton mill owner, during the time of the Industrial Revolution.

We have previously looked at the terrible working conditions mill workers endured during this time and discussed the struggles they encountered with regards to fairer pay to support themselves and their families.  In writing their letters pupils attempted to use as many features of a persuasive letter as possible.

In Maths we looked at line graphs and completed a wide variety of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
