In science this week we have been continuing our topic on animals.  We looked at different photos of animals and made some comparisons to find out what is the same and what is different.  We learnt that not all birds can fly.  I wonder if the children can remember which birds can’t fly.  We also learnt that there is a mammal that can fly, do you know which mammal it is? 

In English we have be preparing to write our own traditional tales next week.  We looked at how we can make our writing more exciting by finding different words for said.
