Home learning for another week, Kingfishers.  Carry on with your projects, including your research into American scientists and their work. Year 5, you can mix and match your English work - choose from the Year 5 and 6 work linked to your projects or the work from Mrs Taylor. Remember to visit Nightingales or Eagles pages for your maths group work, too.

Work through the activities in the pack.  To extend your thinking, compare the window designs in the illustrations to stained glass windows that you have seen in real life - for example, the windows in St George's church.  Can you say how they are similar and different, express your personal preferences and suggest how different designs might help worshipers to feel close to God in a sacred space.
