Week 6

Hello Swallows,

I hope this blog finds you well!  I am very well, I was in school all last week and it was lovely to see some of the staff and children, face to face.

I'm still really busy behind the scenes, writing our history and geography curriculum and arranging for painters and decorators to come and make our school look 'fab-u-lous!'

I was wondering what you guys have been up to - keep sending me pictures and videos so that I can put them onto our class page and share them with others.

Have you learned a new skill during lockdown or alternatively picked up an old hobby that you previously didn't have time for?  I have been managing to do a bit of cross stitch, which is something I loved doing before my three children were born! It's been a really good way of winding down from my school work and relaxing.  I have taken a photo of what I have done so far.

When it comes to your home learning, do what you can and don't be afraid to follow your own learning interests. Be kind to yourselves, this is a difficult time.

I expect that you have heard a lot of talk about coming back to school, please try not to worry about this.  I wanted to let you know that I am still waiting to find out the best way of opening school in a way that keeps everyone safe.  We really all do miss you being at school and it just isn't the same without you!   As soon as I have a plan, I will write and let you and your grown ups know the way this will look at our school.

Lots of love and hugs

Mrs C xxxxx
