Doves Class Blog Week 5
History:
Doves had a fantastic time in Chester on Tuesday. We learnt all about the life of a Roman soldier and we even got to look at Roman architecture. We learnt about the remains found from the Roman, Saxon, Medieval and post medieval periods.

English:
What a successful term we have had in English. We have enjoyed reading ‘The Lost Thing’ and started to plan our care guide. Our English Working Wall is finally complete and this will help us to write our final drafts after half term.
PE:
Fantastic PE this week!
Swimming and tennis.
Just a reminder that swimming will be on a Monday for year 3 after half term.
Achievements:
Well done to the year 3 recorder club for an excellent performance today. Congratulations to all the children who received their reading certificate having read every day at home this term.
It was great to see so many people at the doughnut sale.
