I hope you are all keeping safe and well. It was great to catch up with many of you last Wednesday, during our zoom chat. I'm really looking forward to our next meeting, on Tuesday at 2:00pm. Please join us if you can and make sure you have a pencil and paper, ready for our class quiz!

Oli Lyner has been hiding his decorated stones in Alderley Edge and making a yummy cheesecake! Tristan has really enjoyed finding out about Fairtrade and searching for as many things as he can at home, with the Fairtrade logo. Our science theme this half term has been "Famous Scientists and Inventors" and earlier in the year we studied "Electricity". I would now like you to use the videos and activities on 'Espresso Learning at Home' to link these two topics.

Please click on Espresso and select KS2 Science. Next scroll down to the block called "Electricity (upper)". Have a go at the activities and please make sure you watch the video about the 'invention of the lightbulb'. These activites will also help to prepare you for your science investigations in Year 5.
