Hello Nightingales,
It was just brilliant to see so many of your faces on our Zoom call on Friday. I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend and that you are ready for the week ahead. Please email me if you have any questions, need any help or if you want to show me something.
Thank you to those of you who have emailed to say that you hadn't received anything through the post from me and Nige. I promise that I sent something to all of you! I will post out new envelopes to all of you who have emailed.
Have a great week.

Your grammar work for this week gives you an opportunity to test yourself on the grammar, spelling and punctuation work that we have covered throughout the year. You can approach this work in one of two ways:
1) Do it like a test and get an adult to mark it for you.
2) Do it like a piece of work. Answer the questions that you can. Work with an adult on the questions that you find more challenging.
I don't mind which way you want to do the task so choose what feels right for you.

Project America
Over the next three weeks, taking us up until the end of term, we would like you to research and present your own project: Project America.
We have been learning about the geography of South America and about some significant people and events in the history of North America.
We would like you to find out about some other aspects of the history of the different parts of America. For example the Mayan or Aztec civilisations or America's role in the 'Space Race'.
You will also find out about the geography of North America. That could include rivers and mountains, lakes and National Parks. You could find out about the different states of the USA.
You can choose how you present you work.
- Posters
- Fact files
- PowerPoint presentations
- Non-chronological reports
