Week 5
Good morning!
I very hope that as you begin another 'school' week, you are all happy and well.
Did anyone spot that despite last week having a bank holiday, I set work for all five 'school' days! I have to admit that I had completely forgotten that there wasn't any 'school' last Friday so please don't worry if you didn't get all of the work done. In fact, for any week, parents, please don't worry if your child does not complete all of the work set as you know what is right for your child within these difficult circumstances.
As usual, I have set a maths and English task for each day. There is also a science task. Have a great week, Nightingale Class. Please feel free to email whenever you want.
What's stopping you? Go for it!

Science Task - A Note to Parents
Parents, continuing to build on the children's understanding of what a healthy lifestyle is, this week's science task introduces them to the idea of 'drugs' both legal and illegal. Their work focuses in on legal non-prescribed drugs and the effects they have on the body. I am aware that this topic, because of varying life experience and circumstances, can be an emotive one. I would therefor encourage you to read the lesson plan and materials before setting your child the task. As parents, you very much know what is right and appropriate for your child.
