This week we completed our fascinating history unit on Early Islamic Civilisation. In our final lesson we explored the devastating effects of the Mongol attack on Baghdad which ended over 500 years of a golden era.

The pupils researched all aspects of the attack, developing important skills that will be required as they move to their secondary schools.
