This week we our writing has been inspired by the story of the Trojan war - we found it hard to believe that a beauty contest sparked such terrible consequences! 

Are artefacts reliable sources of evidence? We examined their value to historians as well as their limitations.

We also debated the merits of being a citizen of the Ancient Greek city states of Sparta or Athens...it all depended on your point of view and on your particular position within society.

In our science lesson we researched the life process of reproduction, sexual and asexual, in plants. We found out the scientific vocabulary to identify the reproductive parts and processes for different plant species.  Next week we will be learning about reproduction in animals, beginning with amphibians and insects.
