Thank you, Kingfishers, for another great week back at school! 

Every child has now had a 1:1 reading session with an adult, which gave us a chance to catch up on our lockdown experience and check in about the return to school. Everyone has settled really well and most children said how much they prefer school learning to home learning (except for the availability of snacks while you work!), especially being with friends again.

We have focused on polishing some of the writing we did at home and presenting it in our Golden Writing Books. These books are something to be proud of!

Maths has carried on as usual. Please do visit the White Rose website to review any learning that was tricky, using the videos. Kingfisher and Eagles groups follow the Year 6 curriculum and Nightingales group follows the Year 5 sequence.

Year 6 filled in their surveys and were photographed ready for the Year Book - huge thanks to Mrs Glazier and Mrs Birch for working on this.
