Doves Class Blog Week 4

RE, PHSE and Citizenship:

We have been working hard in our RE lessons and have learnt all about how the Easter story links to Salvation. We also learnt about the Hindu festival Holi. We have learnt that Holi is the festival of colour and did multi-coloured finger-painting. We have also been practising for our collective worship. 

Music/ Science:

We were treated to a piano assembly this week. We learnt some key tips on how to play the piano. We also enjoyed exploring the musical instruments in our science lesson. We have been learning about pitch, volume and vibrations.

PE:

We are enjoying our swimming lessons at Altrincham Leisure Centre.  The year 3 children are having a growth mindset. The year 4 children are enjoying their games lessons with Sam Brooks.

Doves and Miss Baxter would like to invite you all to our collective worship on Tuesday 17^th March 2020. The worship will begin at 9:15am but refreshments are available from 9:00am. 

As part of this week’s homework please can all the children learn their lines.  Thank you in advance.
