The children are working hard to be good servants during Lent.  Lots of the children have told me about the acts of kindness they are doing and it’s great to hear about the discussions you are having about this. Ask your child to tell you about our 40 Acts challenge.

This week we have marked World Book Day with lots of events and activities.  Liz Kessler inspired us to think from a writer’s point of view when we visited St Vincent’s School on Wednesday.  It was also great to have the chance to talk about the books we love (and other topics!) with children from other schools.

Thankyou for supporting our Reading Breakfast on Friday.  The children made a fantastic effort on costumes or pyjamas.  We all enjoyed the Footlights performance, which took us on a whistle-stop tour of children’s literature from caterpillars and far-away trees, through Ancient Greece,  Hogwarts  and even a trip to the dentist.  Lots of fun!
