Miss Edwards took Owls on a lovely autumnal walk through John Leigh Park this week.  We used it to form part of our Geography and History for this half term.  We followed the map and used it to identify the different features in the park.  We learnt lots of different facts.  Did you know that “The Dip” was actually once a pond?  And that the oak tree is approximately 400 years old?  We even bumped into some of the lovely Friends of John Leigh Park who were cleaning out the aviary.
