Week 1
Hello everyone,
I hope you're all safe and well? I've been missing you all very much!
I will be posting suggested activities to complete on the website. Our day-to-day life is very different at the moment and these activities will help you to keep to a routine. Just as we do in school, you might find it easier to timetable your day and block activities into chunks.
A suggested timetable might be:
9am – Wake up exercise – e.g. Joe Wicks, BBC SuperMovers or a walk.
9.30am – Maths – complete the daily online task from White Rose.
10.15am – Break – drink and a snack
10.30am – English – complete one of the English tasks listed online.
11.30am – Reading – one of the books from the online book club.
12.00pm – Lunch
1.00pm – Science/Topic – complete one of the tasks posted online.
With all this time at home maybe you could learn a new skill? You could learn to play a new sport, bake something you have never baked before or even help out doing chores around the house. Please don't forget to spend lots of time with your families and make as many precious memories as you can.
It's important that everyday you try your best to do some home learning. If you do have a wobble, you can always try doing something different and come back to it at another time. Don't worry if you cannot print any of the work off. Just do your best to complete the work either on a device (tablet, laptop, PC etc) or on paper.
Good luck Robins! Keep in touch, I would love to see some of the fun activities you are doing. Please send photos and messages via the class e-mail, robins@altrinchamceprimary.co.uk
Take care and keep washing those hands!

Talk about the story together and draw a picture to show what you remember from the story. You could try to write some thought bubbles to describe how Jesus’ friends felt and what they were thinking.
Below is a link to another a helpful, short version with the context of the context of the story, told by children.
