Doves Class Blog Week 6
What a creative week we have enjoyed. We have had art, textiles and design and technology. We started our week off with Decoration Day. Thank you to all the parents who came to help us. We all dressed up Christmassy and listened to Christmas songs. We created a gingerbread puppet, star tree decoration, reindeer tree decoration, mini Christmas tree and mosaic calendar. We linked our calendars this year to our topic Romans which we will be continuing in January 2020. Our decorations are now in the hall and on our class Christmas tree. Super artists in doves this week!

On Tuesday the fun continued and Andy came to our school to deliver a design and technology day, we had a lantern making workshop. Look at our wonderful lanterns. The theme for ACE this year was musical notes.
On Thursday Doves went to church and learnt all about advent and incarnation as this is our RE topic. Father Edmond talked to us about the importance of Christmas and advent. We had a great time.
I look forward to seeing you all at the lantern parade on Saturday 7th December.
