Doves Class Blog Week 5

What a fun week we have had.

WOW! I am proud of all the year 3 children in Doves and Swallows for their wonderful  trumpet concert. Our year 4 children were also proud of their class friends and they had an invitation to come and watch.

Year 4 Doves and Finches started their week off by visiting Altrincham Baptist Church in the Rewind to Christmas event.  We learnt a lot about the importance of Christmas and light.

We met Mary and Joseph, watched a Christmas movie and made a tea light candle. Everyone enjoyed the popcorn!   Have a look at our photographs.

On Monday night a mysterious visitor broke into our classroom. Doves and Swallows investigated...they must have come into school to have a wash. 

Mrs Pickering wasn’t very pleased with the mess the visitor had left.

Further on in the week we had a call from Mr Fisher saying that he had heard lots of rustling noises in the night.  We think it’s the woolly mammoth… Could the visitor be returning?

Next week we will start to write instructions about how to wash our own woolly mammoth.
