Breaking News!

We have had a very exciting Monday morning. A breaking news flash popped up on to our big screen during our morning register. Sports Sam was being interviewed on the news, because he had seen some strange thing on the school field during his morning jog.

So we decided to put on our coats and go and investigate!

Sam was right… we saw some unusual bright colourful feathers, peculiar slime on the tree trunk and an unexpected smell lingering around forest school.  

This has helped to inspire the children to talk and write creatively with lots of detail and description.
