This week has been Anti-bullying Week.

The children have strong opinions on the issue of bullying and they worked together to make some fantastic posters giving advice on what to do in this worrying situation.

We followed the theme through our work in English and History this week, reading an extract from "The Dolphin Crossing" about a bullying incident.  We focused imperative verbs in one of our daily grammar bursts, which were used to make sure the tips on our posters were clear and concise.

We have read extracts from a range of fabulous fiction set in World War II.  Why not go to the library and request the full text of a book that's caught your imagination?
