We have had a sparkling, whizzing, fizzing and crackling week in Robins. After witnessing colourful firework displays over the weekend, the children couldn’t wait to share their weekend news about the beautiful displays they had seen and were eager to understand why we celebrate Bonfire Night. We stepped back in time and found out all about Guy Fawkes and his plot. Children also thought about how they could keep themselves, others and their pets safe on Bonfire Night. The posters they designed needed to be eye catching, have short, snappy sentences and bossy verbs. We are really impressed with their Bonfire Night safety posters!
