Nightingale Class have spent this week learning about the role of women during World War II. They were amazed to discover that before World War II, women rarely worked. Our learning brought up a brilliant discussion about equality!

Every child took on the role of a woman during World War II. They were given a job offer letter and then chose a challenge to find out about the job they were offered. They also looked at propaganda posters which encouraged and persuaded women to take part in the war effort. Our work isn't all finished yet, but we thought you would like to see what we have been up to!
